Warranty Terms & Conditions:
The first class equipment guarantees the quality of brake product during the process, realizing the principle “Quality from Process”.
The Reick brakes warranty covers defects in materials or workmanship only. Warranty is for replacement of similar products or refund of purchase value only ,excluding all labor and ancillary charges such as collection, fitting, inconvenience, purchasing of other manufacturers products and is good for a period of 12 months from date of purchase or 20,000 KM. (Whichever comes first.)
Warranty can be claimed by consumers through Reick head office directly. Proof of mileage will be required. Original purchase receipts or installation receipts may be requested. Reick brake pads are manufactured for smooth and noise free braking. However some brake pad systems cause pads to wear faster than others. Warranty does not cover brake noise or normal wear and tear. Warranty only applies to the original owner of the vehicle.
How to install brake pads?
1) Remove Wheels
2) Loosen Caliper mounting bolts
3) Remove one caliper mounting bolt completely
4) Re-install 2 lug bolts to hold disk in place
5) Swing caliper either up or down depending on which caliper bolt you have removed 6) Use "c" clamp or similar tool to retract piston in caliper
7) Install new pads
8) Re-install caliper bolts
9) Re-install wheel
When Installing Brake Shoes:
1) Always replace or resurface worn drums
2) Replace or Rebuild leaking Wheel Cylinders
3) Always replace worn hardware
4) Inspect and replace damaged hoses and steel brake lines
5) Inspect brake fluid in Master Cylinder, fill with fluid recommended by vehicle manufacturer.
Caution: Inhalation of friction particles may be hazardous to your health. Avoid stirring or breathing of friction dust.
